Infor XA Technical Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Infor XA Technical Consultant with a strong background in AS400 programming to join our enterprise applications team. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in AS400 technologies including DB2/400, RPG/400, CL/400, ILE/400, and SQL/400, along with a solid understanding of manufacturing processes. The candidate will be responsible for analyzing requirements, supporting manufacturing functionalities, troubleshooting production issues, and contributing to SDLC activities within an Agile environment.Qualifications & Skills:- Minimum 4+ years of strong hands-on programming experience on AS400 platform. - Experience in manufacturing domain is preferred. - Proficiency in: - DB2/400 - RPG/400 - CL/400 - ILE/400 - SQL/400 - Good understanding of manufacturing processes and workflows. - Experience working in Agile methodologies. - Knowledge of JIRA and change management tools. - Familiarity with SDLC processes. - Experience in handling production issues, job messages, debugging, etc. - Experienced with Infor XA, including IDF Development and System Link.Roles & Responsibilities:- Gather and analyze business requirements related to manufacturing processes. - Design, develop, and maintain Infor XA customizations and enhancements using AS400 technologies. - Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, including job messages, system errors, and debugging. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support manufacturing functionalities. - Participate in Agile development cycles, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. - Maintain documentation of technical specifications, design, and configuration changes. - Utilize JIRA for issue tracking, task management, and project collaboration. - Support change management processes, including deployment and version control. - Assist in SDLC activities such as testing, deployment, and documentation. - Contribute to IDF development and System Link integrations if experienced.
