Epicor Technical Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Epicor Technical Consultant with extensive experience in Epicor ERP systems to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, hands-on experience with Epicor ERP 10 / Kinetic and Prophet 21, and a proven track record of delivering customized ERP solutions in manufacturing, distribution, or engineering domains. The candidate will work closely with clients and cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement tailored Epicor solutions that optimize business processes.Qualifications & Skills:- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field. - 5+ years of proven experience in administering and managing Epicor ERP systems. - Strong hands-on experience with Epicor ERP 10 / Kinetic and Prophet 21 (or later versions). - Prior experience working in manufacturing, distribution, or engineering sectors. - Exposure to Agile / Scrum project environments. - Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills. - Effective communication and client interaction skills. - Technical proficiency in Epicor ERP software and related technologies. - Knowledge of SQL, Crystal Reports, and ERP system customization tools. - Familiarity with Epicor Data Model and Application Studio (for Kinetic UI customization). - Epicor Technical Certifications are a plus. - Strong understanding of ERP architecture, business process flows, and integration frameworks. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.Technical Skills:- Hands-on experience with Epicor ERP 10 / Kinetic and Prophet21. - Proficiency in: - C#, .NET Framework, Epicor ICE Tools - T-SQL / Microsoft SQL Server, SSRS Reporting Services - BPMs, BAQs, Dashboards - REST / SOAP APIs, Service Connect, and other integration frameworks - Experience with data migration, custom report development, and Epicor upgrades. - Ability to perform Epicor system customizations and UI modifications. - Strong troubleshooting and technical support skills. - Familiarity with Epicor’s Data Model and Application Studio.Key Responsibilities:Development & Customization:- Design, develop, and implement Epicor ERP customizations using BPMs, BAQs, Dashboards, and UD fields/tables. - Create custom forms, reports, and interfaces utilizing C#, SQL Server, SSRS, and Epicor tools. - Extend and enhance modules such as Finance, Supply Chain, and Production based on business needs.Integration & Technical Design:- Develop and maintain integrations between Epicor and third-party systems using REST APIs, Service Connect, or middleware. - Design technical specifications, data models, and system architecture documentation.Support & Maintenance:- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues and defects. - Provide ongoing system performance tuning, upgrades, and maintenance. - Support end-users with technical queries, reporting, and system enhancements.Collaboration & Delivery:- Work with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions. - Participate in UAT, deployment, and post-go-live support. - Follow change control, version management, and comprehensive documentation standards.Preferred Attributes:- Strong consulting and client-facing skills. - Ability to manage multiple priorities independently. - Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.
