Job Description:
To drive end-to-end operational excellence and business scalability across Forbes Vyncke’s value chain — ensuring sustainable growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction. The Head -Operations will translate strategic intent into executional outcomes by integrating project, engineering, manufacturing, and service functions, while building a high-performance culture aligned to the JV’s long-term vision.Responsibilities. Strategic & Operational Leadership- Translate business strategy into measurable operational goals with clear KPIs for efficiency, quality, and delivery. - Lead cross-functional synchronization across project management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and service. - Drive operational transformation through process digitization, automation, and performance analytics. - Partner with the CEO and Board to define 3–5 year capacity-building and capability roadmaps.2. Project Management & Execution Excellence- Ensure flawless execution of domestic and international projects, balancing speed, cost, and quality. - Institutionalize a governance rhythm (dashboards, reviews, early warning systems) to monitor project health. - Champion Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to improve productivity and reduce waste. - Build strong vendor, partner, and EPC interfaces for seamless delivery.3. Customer & Stakeholder Management- Maintain strong relationships with key customers and ensure customer satisfaction across all engagements. - Serve as a key escalation point for project concerns and work closely with clients to align expectations. - Collaborate with partners from both the Indian and Belgian parent organizations for technical and operational integration.4. People, Culture & Leadership- Lead, mentor, and inspire multi-disciplinary teams to deliver consistent high performance. - Build leadership succession and capability depth across functions. - Champion a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and safety. - Foster diversity, inclusion, and engagement across operational teams.5. Financial & Commercial Accountability- Own project profitability through strict control on timelines, budgets, and execution efficiency. - Collaborate with finance and commercial teams to forecast project costs, margins, and working capital requirements. - Support business development initiatives with project insights, pricing validation, and risk assessment.6. Governance, Safety & Compliance- Ensure compliance with all statutory, environmental, and safety regulations at project sites. - Promote a zero-incident safety culture and ensure adherence to global quality standards. - Maintain governance systems aligned with JV policies and international partner requirements.Qualification:B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical EngineeringExperience:20–25 years of total experience in large-scale EPC, Energy, or Process Engineering industries (Boiler experience preferred but not mandatory).
