Advisor, Systems Support Exp. Range: 10-12 Years Shift: Rotational Shift (Night Shift as well) Job Description: What does a successful Advisor, Systems Support do at Fiserv? A successful Advisor in the CNS Team ensures the smooth functioning of ACH and Dovetail server operations, proactively monitors application health, and supports mission-critical payment systems. This role is pivotal in maintaining system reliability, validating deployments, and coordinating with stakeholders to drive operational excellence. The Advisor also contributes to incident analysis, access provisioning, and continuous improvement of monitoring tools and alerts. What you will do: Monitor ACH and Dovetail servers; manage service availability and restarts. Track and report CNS file movement from ingestion to PEP+ arrival; reprocess files when needed. Validate application health using Splunk, Dynatrace, and JMX webapp; follow SOPs for error handling. Support Payee Name Verification changes and coordinate with execution teams. Participate in certificate installations and validate DPP/EPP changes. Provision access for tools like Splunk, OD, EC, Extropy, Linux servers, Kubernetes, and JMX. Validate deployments across CERT/PROD/DR environments on Authentication Gateway. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify gaps and implement improvements. Conduct incident analysis and drive preventive actions. Enhance monitoring services and alerts for better system reliability. Attend knowledge transfer sessions on the Dovetail payments platform. What you will need to have: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field (BE / BSc / MCA / MTech). 10+ years of experience in IT operations or application support. Working knowledge of: Linux, DB2 SQL, Splunk, Dynatrace, GitHub. What would be great to have: Exposure to payment processing systems or financial services environments. Experience with Kubernetes and JMX webapp monitoring. Familiarity with certificate management and deployment validation. Proactive approach to identifying and resolving operational issues.
