Role: Should Costing EngineerLocation: Kharadi, PuneExperience Range: 5+ yearsWork Mode: All 5 days onsiteRole & responsibilitiesDevelop detailed should-cost models for sheet metal fabricated and machined componentsAnalyze engineering drawings and define manufacturing processesPerform process planning including routing, machine selection, and operation sequencingEstimate cycle times, setup times, and overall manufacturing costsEvaluate cost drivers and identify cost reduction opportunities TechnicalSkills & Requirements:Strong knowledge of Sheet Metal, Fabrication, and Machining processesGood understanding of:Materials, alloys, and their costing Machine rates , Process cycle time estimation, Surface treatment and heat treatment processes & rates NDT inspection methods and their costing Hands-on experience in process planningExperience in part cost estimation and cost modelingExposure to cost negotiation with customers/suppliers Knowledge of costing tools; experience with aPriori will be an added advantage.
