As a rapidly growing company, with offices in the USA, UK, Australia, and India servicing clients in over 60 countries, we are seeking talented and ambitious individuals to join our company.About the RoleJoVE is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Peer Review Manager to lead and optimize the peer review process for the JoVE Journal. The Peer Review Manager will oversee peer review operations, manage a team of editors, and drive continuous improvements in workflow, reviewer engagement, and author experience.Responsibilities:-Oversee the end-to-end peer review process from manuscript submission to final editorial decision. Manage and mentor a team of Peer Review Editors, fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture.Provide training, feedback, and performance tracking to ensure team success and publication growth.Monitor key performance metrics (e.g., time to first decision, reviewer turnaround, acceptance rates). Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements, automation, and best practices to enhance efficiency. Develop strategies to improve reviewer engagement, retention, and turnaround times.Work closely with Editorial, Production, and Content teams to ensure a seamless publication process.Explore and implement AI and automation tools to enhance peer review efficiency and quality.Requirements:-A Ph.D. or Master’s in Life Science. 5+ years of experience in academic/scientific publishing, with deep expertise in peer review workflows.Proven experience managing peer review teams and meeting publishing deadlines.
