Learn more at Dar Al-Handasah and Sidaracollaborative.Position: BIM ManagerDepartment: Digital PracticesJob Location: Pune/ BengaluruExperience: 10+ yearsRole DescriptionOversee and lead all BIM-related activities on the package and coordinate with the project lead BIM Manager.Initiate the BIM kick-off of the specific package with project team,Prepare and submit the package-specific BIM Execution Plan (BEP) in accordance with the project’s BIM requirements and the general BEP, in addition to managing other BIM deliverables such as (MIDP, Clash matrix, etc.)Oversee the BIM support team and make sure they abide by the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and BIM StandardsCoordinate with discipline leads to implement BIM processes across the project lifecycle.Manage the Common Data Environment (CDE) and facilitate project-wide data collaboration.Lead BIM coordination meetings specific to the packageProvide performance metrics and report BIM progress to project BIM management.Perform visual checking on the federated model and share major issues with the affected stakeholdersEnsure compliance with the Employers BIM requirements through QAQC procedures to ensure the data quality of the submitted models.Ensure the issues raised in clash detection reports are resolved.QualificationsArchitecture / Engineering degree.Minimum 10+ years of Design and/or Construction experience with at least 5 years of BIM mega-project experience.Good knowledge of Architecture / Engineering designGood understanding of Information Management according to ISO19650 standards and requirements.Good understanding of classification systems such as Uniformat, MasterformatGood understanding of structured data and different exchange formats (COBie, IFC, DWFX)Strong leadership and communication skillsExperience in Authoring technical BIM documentation such as standards and workflowsAdvanced Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and Navisworks ManageDesirable additional qualifications:Experience in implementing 4D/5D (Navisworks/Synchro/Other), Virtual realityExperience in delivering BIM training/learningBIM certification aligned with ISO19650PowerBI proficiencyKind Note:While we carefully review all applications, only candidates meeting the specified requirements will be contacted for further consideration.
