Job Description:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced training professional to join our team as an Assistant Manager – Training. This is an individual contributor role responsible for designing and delivering high-quality training programs within the banking domain.The ideal candidate should have strong domain understanding in banking processes and a proven ability to engage and train batches effectively. Candidates with hands-on training exposure, even without formal trainer designation, are encouraged to apply.Key Responsibilities:Deliver end-to-end training programs for new hires and existing employees within the banking domainConduct classroom and/or virtual training sessions for batches with a focus on engagement and knowledge retentionDevelop training materials, modules, and content aligned with business requirementsAssess trainee performance through evaluations, feedback, and assessmentsIdentify knowledge gaps and implement corrective training interventionsCollaborate with stakeholders to ensure training effectiveness and alignment with process requirementsMaintain training reports, dashboards, and documentationEnsure adherence to quality standards and continuous improvement in training deliveryKey Requirements:1–4 years of experience in training within the banking / financial services domainStrong understanding of banking operations (any domain such as Retail Banking, Mortgage, Lending, Customer Service etc.)Excellent communication and presentation skillsPrior experience in handling and delivering training for batchesAbility to simplify complex concepts and drive learner engagementStrong interpersonal and stakeholder management skillsPreferred Profile:Experience working with international banking processes (preferably UK banking exposure)Candidates with training exposure (even without formal trainer title) but strong delivery capability will be consideredFamiliarity with adult learning principles and training methodologies
