Job Description:
Acclime is seeking an experienced Finance Manager & Team Lead to join our team. The Finance Manager will play a pivotal role in providing all our clients with exceptional client service. This role requires exceptional communication skills and the ability to work professionally with stakeholders both internally and externally This is a client-facing role and will involve catching up with Australian managers and clients on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis via teams/zoom calls. This role will also involve travelling to australia in future for a potential client visit and training.Salary Range: ₹15,00,000 – ₹20,00,000 per annumRole & responsibilitiesManagement experience, training & review experience, and ability to collaborate independently with the Australian client.Liaison with firms partners and other executive teamsManage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including:Month and end-year processAccounts payable/receivableCash receiptsGeneral ledgerPayroll and utilitiesTreasury, budgeting, and forecastingRevenue and expenditure variance analysisMonthly reconciliations of balance sheet accountsMonthly reporting including P&L commentariesBAS/ income tax return preparationCapital assets reconciliationsMonitor and analyse accounting data and produce financial reports or statementsCreate and maintain weekly/monthly cashflow forecasts for clientsEstablish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principlesCoordinate and complete annual auditsProcess creation and documentation for new systems/clientsImprove systems and procedures and initiate corrective actionsAssign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracyBuild effective working relationships with senior client contacts and ensure retention of clientsManage, coordinate, and delegate client work to team members/contractors with an appropriate level of capabilityEnsure workflow within the team is allocated effectively and equitablyCommunication skills:Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to communicate independently with Australian clients over a teams/zoom call.Academic qualifications & experience:Chartered Accountant and/or Australian CPA, US CPAMinimum 5 years of core Australian accounting and tax experience preferred.This role is ideally suited to a qualified CA who is looking to take the first step out of large to mid-tier CA firm.Candidate Must Have:Conceptual understanding of Australian taxation lawsExceptional client skills, including the ability to build and maintain a good working relationship with the client and a proactive approach to managing client expectationsBe a self-starter with high levels of initiative and excellent time management skillsStrong team player and quick learnerExceptional communication and presentationProven ability to build strong relationshipsMust have excellent work habits to get the job done especially during deadlines
