With millions of parents and thousands of SKUs, the challenge is no longer just /"listing products/"—it’s about predicting intent. We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the Search, Ranking, and Browse experiences for our Middle East markets. You will own the /"top of the funnel,/" transforming how parents in Riyadh and Dubai find the perfect products through advanced ranking algorithms, AI-driven personalization, and high-performance listing pages. Key ResponsibilitiesVision & Strategy: Define and execute a 1–3 year discovery roadmap. Transition our search from keyword-matching to intent-based discovery using Machine Learning (ML) and GenAI.Ranking & Relevance Algorithms: Own the /"Scoring Logic/" for search results and PLPs. Balance business goals (margin, stock) with customer signals (CTR, ratings) to build a world-class ranking engine.Search Infrastructure: Collaborate with engineering to minimize latency and optimize /"Zero Result/" pages. Lead the strategy for multilingual search (Arabic/English) and voice-based discovery.Listing Page Mastery: Architect the Product Listing Page (PLP) experience. Optimize information density, facet/filter logic, and real-time social proof (e.g., /"50 sold in last hour/") to maximize Add-to-Cart (ATC) rates.Experimentation & Personalization: Design and lead high-velocity A/B testing on sorting, filtering, and cross-category nudges. Work with Data Scientists to build personalized /"For You/" feeds.Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as the /"CEO of Discovery,/" influencing senior leadership, engineering, and the ME business teams without direct authority to ship high-impact features. The Senior PM ToolkitAlgorithmic Depth - Deep understanding of Search/Ranking (Solr/Elasticsearch), Recommendation Engines, and SEO.Data Mastery - Advanced proficiency in SQL, Mix-panel, Google Analytics 4, and visualization tools (Tableau/Metabase) for deep-dive defect analysis.ML & AI - Hands-on experience in leveraging GenAI for automated taxonomy, search autocomplete, and conversational commerce.Performance Metrics (Your Success Drivers)Search Conversion Rate (sCVR): Increase the % of searches that lead to a purchase.Search Exit Rate: Drastically reduce drop-offs on Search Result Pages (SRPs).Relevance Score: Improve the mathematical relevance of the top 10 products shown to a user.Filter Engagement: Increase the % of users who find products using refined facets. What We Look ForExperience: 5–8+ years in Product Management, with at least 3 years specifically in Search, Discovery, or Personalization for a high-scale B2C marketplace Technical Savvy: You should be able to discuss API latency, indexing, and model training with engineers Amazon Technical PM Standard.Bar-Raising Communication: Proven ability to write high-quality PRDs and Vision Docs that simplify complex technical problems for business stakeholders.Education: B.E./B.Tech from a premier institute. MBA from a Tier-1 B-school is highly preferred.
