The Pune Studio has the pulse on the fast-evolving desires of the Indian Market and work with the other global teams, reacting instantly to market developments – creating products that continue to delight customers.Job ResponsibilityCombining perseverance, creativity and imagination in the prolific and exhaustiveExploration and ideation of multiple alternativesAlign with the Brand and Design DNA to approach the proposals holistically with the other design disciplines in the studio.Make Design proposals that are stimulating and inspiring.Detail out selected Design Proposal.Balance intuition, intelligence and observation to predict the evolution tastes and trends.Guide Clay & CAS modelers to develop and evolve Design Proposal.Interact with engineering and quality to mature proposal into final product.Other Features of RoleThe role is based is a full time role based in the Tata Motors Design Studio in Pune.Frequent on-site and regular Interactions are needed with the other designers and with engineering and product development in the Engineering Centre.May require some travel to interface with suppliers and vendorDesired Candidate Profile:Education: Bachelors / Diploma or Professional Design training for Clay modellingRelevant Experience: Over 8-10 years of relevant experienceVery good understanding of symmetry, surface highlightsHighly skilled with clay tools, Di-Noc film application, modelling tapes and other tools usually deployed during the clay model developmentFamiliar with other proto mediums used including hard foam, paper boards and paint application process.Basic knowledge of Milling programmingSkills & CompetenciesAgility - Agility is best demonstrated by tenacity to achieve challenging goals and adapting to a variety of situations, individuals or groups.Risk taking - Risk taking is best demonstrated by questioning status quo and taking on challenges despite uncertaintiesEmpowerment - Empowerment is best demonstrated by sharing authority as well responsibility for decision making and stretch team capabilities to maximize resultsOwner' Mindset - Owner' Mindset: Developing a sense of being enterprising, understanding the purpose of delivering superior business results and having a stake in it by being accountable for quality and success of the outcomes, delivered through concrete action.Accountability - Accountability is best demonstrated by taking full responsibility of the task and holding each other accountable for the outcomesCollaboration - Collaboration is best demonstrated by working effectively with internal / external partners and Sharing information, ideas and expertise with othersPassion for customer - Passion for customer is best demonstrated by sustainably implementing practices that meet customers’ needs and building productive alliances with customers / stakeholderEmbrace Diversity with inclusion
