Senior Procurement Specialist

Title: Senior Procurement Operations AnalystLocation: Pune, INDuration: Contract to HireThe proc ops specialist is responsible for:Daily procurement operational administrative system tasks for sourcing and contractingEnabling the system through content creation (e.g. catalogs); identifying and working with suppliers that can provide the content.Providing support to the business for procurement system related matters, maintain effective communication & interface with the organization as neededMaintaining a high-level knowledge of all procurement, supplier, contract management and sourcing solution suitesAssist in monitoring Procure 2 Pay (P2P) systems compliance and assist with process documentationAssisting with future Procure 2 Pay (P2P) systems rollouts and improvement projects for previous rollouts7)Local time zone management of two additional specialists, supporting with day-to-day direction, management support, and annual reviewsAdditional responsibilities include:Develop and manage a procurement operations dashboard to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide real-time insights into procurement activities.Foster relationships with key stakeholders across the organization to ensure procurement strategies support overall business goals.Mentor and develop procurement team members, providing guidance and opportunities for professional growth.Champion the adoption of innovative procurement technologies to enhance efficiency and user experience.Support cross-departmental projects that involve procurement to ensure seamless collaboration and alignment with business objectives.Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 5-8 years project management experience, consulting, or other supply chain experienceExperience in procurement, supply chain, or AP operational support rolesExperience with leading eProcurement platforms with and emphasis on upstream and enablement, Coupa preferred.Must have experience in COUPA or SAP ARIBABroad knowledge of procurement, sourcing, category management and vendor managementExperience with ERP and middleware integration support desiredAbility to manage functional issues and work with IT team to troubleshoot L1 integration issuesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational and analytical skills
