Myridius is looking for a seasoned legal professional to lead and manage its Legal, Contract Management, Litigation, and Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) functions. This is a strategic and hands-on role requiring strong expertise in corporate advisory, contract lifecycle management, dispute resolution, and intellectual asset protection.The incumbent will play a critical role in safeguarding the organization’s legal interests, ensuring robust compliance frameworks, managing external legal stakeholders, and proactively mitigating legal and commercial risks while supporting business growth.Job OverviewAs of 2026, this role is critical for safeguarding the company's legal interests, ensuringrigorous contract compliance, managing external litigation counsel, and protectingintangible assets through IPR strategy.Experience: 10–15 YearsLocation: Pune / Chennai- HybridKey Responsibilities- 1. Contract Lifecycle Management• Drafting & Vetting: Prepare and review diverse agreements, including Master ServiceAgreements (MSAs), NDAs, Vendor/Procurement contracts, Licensing (IPR/Software),and Lease agreements.• Negotiation: Lead negotiations with external partners to ensure favorable terms andrisk mitigation.• Compliance: Monitor active contracts to ensure all parties meet their obligations anddeadlines.• Template Management: Develop and update standardized contract templates tostreamline business operations.2. Litigation Management• Strategy & Representation: Advise on dispute resolution strategies to minimizecompany exposure and represent the organization in legal proceedings whennecessary.• External Counsel Liaison: Coordinate with external law firms, briefing them on casesand monitoring their performance.• Legal Notices: Draft and respond to legal notices, business letters, and officialcommunications.• Recovery & Tribunals: Handle recovery suits and appear before High Courts, DistrictCourts, and specialized tribunals (e.g., Commercial Courts).3. Intellectual Property Rights (IPR)• Portfolio Management: Protect company trademarks, patents, and copyrights; managefilings and renewals.• IP Enforcement: Handle litigation related to trademark infringement, passing off, andcopyright violations.• Due Diligence: Conduct IP audits and due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, orlicensing transactions.• Advisory: Provide guidance on the best course of action for protecting new products orcreative content.4. General Legal & Compliance• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the organization adheres to labor laws, municipalregulations, and corporate law (e.g., Companies Act).• Internal Advisory: Act as a legal expert for internal departments (HR, Sales,Operations) on legal implications of business decisions.• Risk Assessment: Conduct ongoing legal research to stay updated on legislativechanges and identify potential risks
