Job DetailsJob Title Executive – Learning & DevelopmentDepartment of Human ResourcesLocation MIT World Peace University (MIT-WPU), Kothrud, PuneReporting To Manager – Learning & DevelopmentEmployment Type Full-Time2. Job PurposeThe role is responsible for supporting the planning, execution, and monitoring of Learning & Development (L&D) and Talent Management initiatives at MIT-WPU. The incumbent will coordinate training programs, support performance-linked learning interventions, manage training calendars, and ensure effective implementation of employee development programs aligned with organizational strategy.3. Key Responsibilities / KRAsA. Learning & Development Delivery- Conduct internal training programs for employees across departments, as required. - Deliver training sessions on soft skills, workplace behaviour, employee engagement, and functional programs (as applicable). - Ensure training programs are executed as per the approved training calendar.B. Training Need Identification & Program Design- Identify and prioritize training needs through: - Performance appraisal inputs - Department feedback - Organizational priorities and strategy - Design and structure training programs, including objectives, learning outcomes, content, and assessment methods. - Ensure training content remains current, relevant, and aligned with institutional culture and business needs.C. Training Execution & Coordination- Manage end-to-end training execution, including: - Training schedules and communication - Participant nominations and confirmations - Venue coordination and logistics - Trainer coordination (internal/external) - Training feedback and evaluation - Support rollout of organization-wide L&D initiatives across campus.D. Talent Management & HR Development Initiatives- Support talent management processes and initiatives, including: - Employee engagement activities - Performance management support - Leadership development interventions - Learning programs for managers and leadership teams - Maintaina structured repository/database of learning content, tools, templates, best practices, and training resources.E. Data, Reporting & Analytics- Maintain training MIS, including: - Training attendance and completion reports - Feedback scores and learning effectiveness reports - Monthly/quarterly training dashboards - Research, analyze,e and present data for HR initiatives such as: - Workforce planning - Talent acquisition and onboarding support - Performance management and succession planning supportF. Budget & Vendor Support- Support the preparation of training budget requirements and proposals. - Track training expenses vs plan and highlight deviations. - Assist in vendor coordination, trainer empanelment, and cost negotiations.4. Educational Qualification & Experience- Graduate (BBA / B.Sc / any stream) - MBA / Master’s in HR - 4 to 6 years of experience in HR function with exposure to Learning & Development / Talent Management - Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel & PowerPoint)5. Key Skills & Competencies- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to present to large audiences. - Good facilitation and training delivery skills. - Strong organizational and planning abilities; ability to manage deadlines and training calendars. - Problem-solving mindset with the ability to improve existing processes and methods. - Stakeholder management and coordination skills. - Budgeting, exposure, and training vendor coordination.6.
