We specialize in providing end-to-end supply chain solutions that help our customers improve efficiency, reduce downtime, and optimize inventory management.Position OverviewThe Market Segment Manager will be responsible for driving growth and profitability across designated market segments for Würth Industry India’s product portfolio. This role demands a deep understanding of the targeted customer segments and emphasizes developing segment-specific strategies, enhancing customer penetration, and ensuring alignment with overall business objectivesThe ideal candidate will possess strong commercial acumen, a solid technical understanding of Würth’s products and solutions, deep customer insight within targeted segments, and exceptional relationship management skills—enabling Würth to uphold its mission as a trusted partner in industrial supply solutionsKey ResponsibilitiesIdentify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape within assigned Indian industrial sectors (Ship building, Steel Industry, Aerospace, Packaging, Railways, Electric Vehicles, Engineering Hardware).Identify and pursue new customer accounts in identified high potential market segments (Ship building, Steel Industry, Aerospace, Packaging, Railways, Electric Vehicles, Engineering Hardware).Develop and execute strategic business plans to achieve sales targets and revenue growth in the identified segmentsBuild and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, procurement heads, and maintenance managers.Collaborate with Würth’s Key Account and Technical Sales teams to deliver solutions.Prepare and present technical-commercial proposals, quotations, and solution-based presentations.Support tenders, RFQs, and large contract negotiations with existing and potential customers.Cross-Functional CollaborationWork with product management to ensure the right product mix for Indian market needs.Support sales teams with segment insights, tools, and training.Collaborate with Key Account Managers to penetrate strategic customers beyond fasteners.Participate in product training sessions and represent Würth Industry India in trade fairs, exhibitions, and industry events.Qualifications and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).5+ years of experience in (2 or more) identified segments (Ship building, Steel Industry, Aerospace, Packaging, Railways, Electric Vehicles, Engineering Hardware).Strong understanding of the segments, users and the procurement cycles.Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret market data. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.Proficiency in CRM and advanced MS Excel / Power BI skills.Ability to work independently, handle multiple priorities, and travel to client as required.Key Competencies & SkillsStrategic thinking and market orientation.
