Finance Manager, World's leading Industrial Engineering & Manufacturing Company, PuneJob Profile:The Finance Manager is responsible for end-to-end finance, accounting, controlling, taxation, and compliance operations for the India entity. The role ensures financial accuracy, statutory compliance, strong internal controls, and timely reporting aligned with group standards and deadlines.About the company:A global manufacturing company that designs and produces precision mechanical systems used in vehicles and industrial machines. The company serves automotive and industrial clients worldwide, focusing on quality, durability, and engineering excellence.Designation: Finance ManagerReporting to: Finance Department, local GMLocation: Baner, PuneFinance & Controlling Responsibilities- Overall responsibility for finance and controlling activity to achieve company objectives incl. task distribution and follow up. - Continuous improvement of finance and accounting processes. - Control general accounting including handling journal entries, maintaining balance sheet schedules and ledgers and account and bank reconciliations, including purchase and sales accounting. - Oversee bank bookings and reconciliation, handling of weekly payment process. - Oversee timely preparation of all tax reportings GST and other tax - Prepare, compile and analyze financial information to prepare financial statements including monthly and annual accounts within deadlines given. - Prepare and ensure timely analysis of revenues and expenses, margins - Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities. - Prepare cash forecasts and cash status at least monthly and on request. - Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures. - Maintenance and improvements of accounting control procedures. - Financial audit preparation and coordinate the audit process according to group deadlines. - Close contact to all relating authorities, ensure that all financial and legal documentation and reporting is handled accurately and timely. - Ensure that any changes in Indian Tax and Accounting regulations are implemented timely within the company. - Support basic HR administration throughout the employee lifecycle (HR coordination tasks are of a supportive and administrative nature and do not replace a dedicated HR function)HR Coordination Tasks- Act as local HR coordination contact in India in close cooperation with Group HR - Support basic HR administration throughout the employee lifecycle (onboarding and offboarding) - Coordinate payroll processing with external payroll providers and ensure timely and accurate execution - Maintain employee master data and HR-related documentation in accordance with internal policies - Support compliance with local labor law, social security and statutory reporting requirements - Coordinate leave, absence and basic time management processes - Support local recruitment activities (interview coordination, preparation of employment documentation) - Prepare basic HR reports and provide HR-related data to Group HR and ManagementRole Requirements:- Very good knowledge of Indian accounting practices and principles - Knowledge of international accounting principles - Knowledge of applicable laws, codes and regulations, working experience with Fiscal Authorities - Strong experience of Tally Software and Microsoft computer applications, esp.
