Engineering Manager – Financial Services

Lead globally distributed delivery teams, with a strong focus on offshore-centric delivery models, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and cost-effective solutions aligned with client objectives.About the RoleAn ideal candidate would be one who has grown into the Engineering Manager role after gaining hands-on software development experience.Responsibilities- Own end-to-end delivery of technology projects and consulting engagements across financial services domains. - Define delivery roadmaps, KPIs, and governance frameworks for predictable outcomes. - Drive adoption of Agile delivery models, including SCRUM and KANBAN, and embed DevOps and automation practices across offshore teams. - Act as a trusted advisor to global clients, translating technical solutions into measurable business value. - Manage client expectations, provide progress updates, and resolve escalations promptly. - Build and lead high-performing engineering teams across offshore hubs. - Mentor and coach team leads, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. - Design and implement scalable staffing models to support multi-shore delivery. - Optimize resource allocation across projects to ensure cost efficiency and timely delivery. - Collaborate with talent acquisition teams to maintain a strong pipeline of skilled professionals. - Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and contractual obligations. - Implement robust risk management strategies and mitigation plans.Qualifications- 10+ years in technology delivery, with at least 5 years in financial services. - Strong experience managing globally distributed teams and offshore delivery centers. - Proven track record in successful delivery of technology projects and consulting engagements. - Expertise in Agile delivery models (SCRUM and KANBAN) is a must. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. - Familiarity with enterprise platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Aladdin, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, Databricks) is beneficial.Preferred Skills- Experience with follow-the-sun delivery models and hybrid engagement structures. - Familiarity with regulatory frameworks in financial services (e.g., GDPR, SOX). - Exposure to AI/ML-driven automation and advanced analytics solutions.We are committed to diversity and inclusivity in our hiring practices.
