Senior Quality Assurance Manager

About the Role:We are seeking a Senior QA Manager to lead our Quality Assurance function during a crucial transformation phase-moving from primarily manual testing toward a fully automated, scalable QA ecosystem. This role will play a key part in defining our automation strategy, tools, frameworks, and culture of quality across the product lifecycle.Key Responsibilities:•Leadership & StrategyDefine and execute the QA roadmap with a strong focus on automation-first principles.Establish best practices, metrics, and quality gates across all stages of SDLC.Build and mentor a high-performing QA team comprising both manual and automation engineers.Partner with Product, Engineering, and DevOps teams to ensure quality is embedded into the delivery pipeline.•Automation Framework DevelopmentLead the selection, design, and implementation of test automation frameworks for API, UI, and regression testing.Drive continuous integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.Introduce performance, security, and compatibility testing into the QA scope.•Process and GovernanceDefine QA standards, documentation practices, and test environments.Implement defect management and root cause analysis processes.Introduce metrics such as test coverage, defect leakage, and automation ROI.•Hands-On ContributionParticipate in critical test design, code reviews, and tool evaluation.Establish automation scripts for high-impact areas during early transition stages.Required Qualifications:•15+ years of QA experience, including at least 5 years in a QA leadership or managerial capacity.•Proven experience leading QA transformation from manual to automated environments.•Strong knowledge of test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, PyTest, Postman).•Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI).•Experience with API testing, database testing, and performance testing tools.•Strong grasp of Agile and DevOps principles.Preferred Skills:•Experience with Python or Java-based test frameworks.•Familiarity with cloud testing environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).•Knowledge of containerized testing (Docker/Kubernetes).•Exposure to AI-based testing tools or visual regression systems.•ISTQB or equivalent certification preferred.Key Traits:•Strategic mindset with hands-on problem-solving ability.•Excellent communication and stakeholder management.•Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and quality advocacy.•Passion for continuous improvement and innovation in testing.Success in the Role:•Achieve >70% automation coverage within the first year.•Establish measurable quality KPIs aligned with release goals.•Build a scalable, reusable, and maintainable automation infrastructure.•Foster a “shift-left” quality culture across teams.If interested, please share the resume with ruchira.sinha@Immediate Joiners preferred!!Note: By applying to this position, you are sharing your consent to save your resume copy which we will be using for job applications open with us for a full-time appointment and will save them for future reference.
