Finance & Market Products Specialist

Role Overview:We are seeking an experienced finance professional with strong expertise in Market Products and a deep understanding of end-to-end data flows, system flows, and accounting processes. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in financial accounting, reconciliations, and balance sheet substantiation, combined with excellent leadership and presentation skills. This role requires collaboration with Finance and Market Operations teams, as well as involvement in technology-driven product setups and UAT.Key Responsibilities:- Manage and oversee Market Products with comprehensive knowledge of data, system, and accounting flows. - Perform reconciliations and ensure substantiation of balance sheet accounts. - Create compelling presentations and articulate complex financial concepts to senior stakeholders. - Maintain strong command over financial accounting and operational aspects of books and records management. - Collaborate with technology teams for product setup and UAT, ensuring alignment with Finance and Market Operations requirements. - Act as a point of escalation for critical issues and time-sensitive decisions. - Demonstrate leadership by guiding teams and influencing senior colleagues and clients effectively. - Respond to challenges with innovative solutions and adapt to evolving business needs. - Make sound judgment calls on both quantitative and qualitative issues.Required Skills & Qualifications:- Education: Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. - Experience: 10+ years in Finance, Market Products, or related domains. - Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and balance sheet management. - Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills. - Proven leadership capabilities and ability to operate as a decision-maker. - Experience working with technology teams on product setup and UAT. - Ability to work in UK shifts.Preferred Attributes:- Background in Market Operations and product lifecycle management. - Ability to consistently read situations accurately and gain senior stakeholder commitment. - Creative problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing business environments.
