Our leadership team includes Harvard, IIT Bombay alumni, and Forbes 30 under 30 Asia winners.About the RoleWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced Procurement Manager to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing our supply chain operations, ensuring timely procurement, and maintaining optimal inventory levels. This role requires a proactive individual who can work collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with production teams to align supply chain activities with production plans. Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery of quality parts. Place and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Operate and maintain MRP systems (e.g., SAP) to keep procurement processes efficient and up-to-date. Develop and implement strategies for building a robust supply chain for new product launches. Monitor stock levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts, ensuring parts availability aligns with production schedules. Work closely with material and logistics teams to streamline inventory management and procurement processes. Identify and develop new vendor relationships as needed to support business growth. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to continuously improve supply chain operations.QualificationsUp to five years of experience including some in a corporate environment, preferably within the manufacturing industry. Experience working in diverse company settings, from small startups to mid-sized multinational corporations. Proven track record of managing supply chain operations and vendor relationships.Required SkillsProficiency in MRP systems, such as SAP, and other production-related software. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.Preferred SkillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a small, dynamic team. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
