Deputy Manager- Import Logistics

Job Description- Candidate will require to take care of below roles and responsibilities: - Collaboration with internal team members for planning of arrangement of Import shipments from China, Thailand and other countries. - Coordination with external vendors-Freight Forwarder and shipping lines for shipment arrangement. - Import documentation, checklist approval, Bill of Entry filing and timely and effective co-ordination with CHAs for custom clearance. - Coordination with transporters to plan deliveries of custom cleared shipments to various warehouses PAN India level. - Knowledge of E-waybill creation. - Collaboration with internal warehouse team to discuss and execute delivery of Import shipments. - Collaboration with internal finance team to ensure timely duty payment and other related payments for custom clearance. - Collaboration with Internal Buying team for timely escalation of sensitive matters related to shipment delay/issue with shipper etc. - Timely escalation of issues pertaining to custom clearance, delivery related issue etc. - Fortnightly updation of MIS report. - Candidate will have to understand duty benefit under various free trade agreement, CFS movements, DPD movement, FTWZ movements Duty scrip utilization - Preferred knowledge of certification like AEO, BIS, PNQ, PSC, EPR, CDSCO, WPC-ETA, duty scrips-RoDTEP, RoSCTL, SEIS etc. - Candidate will have to lead a team of 5 people addition to independent KRA.Skills:- Proficient in MS Office- Excel,Word, Good Communication,Problem solving approach and Critical thinking (Logic & reasoning) - Open attitude and ready to take challenges heads on - Well versed with aspects of International Freight Forwarding, INCOTERMS, Duty Structure, HTS, Customs clearance. - Should have excellent attention to detail - Ability to work under high pressure scenarios - Knowledge of warehouse operations would be an added plus - This role will keep evolving with time and responsibilities are not limited to the above.
