Role: Guidewire PolicyCenter Business AnalystPosition Type: Full-Time Contract (40hrs/week)Contract Duration: Long TermWork Hours: Standard (Must work until 11:30am EST)Work Schedule: 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri)Location: Hybrid - Pune, India (3x days onsite/week in India)We are seeking a Business Analyst with strong experience in Commercial Property & Casualty insurance to support the Guidewire PolicyCenter Production Support team. This role focuses on monitoring incidents/requests, analyzing system issues, supporting workflows, and partnering with IT and business teams to ensure stable, efficient policy administration processes.Key Responsibilities- Monitor ticketing system, analyze incidents/requests, provide solutions, or escalate to IT teams. - Troubleshoot and resolve application issues; perform root cause analysis and recommend improvements. - Support Guidewire workflows and provide expertise on workflow design. - Facilitate requirements gathering sessions, stakeholder meetings, and documentation reviews. - Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure accurate solutions and effective issue resolution. - Support UAT planning, test case development, execution, and signoff. - Ensure solutions improve operational efficiency and align with insurance business processes. - Build strong relationships with business users to understand needs and support ongoing enhancements.Required Qualifications- 5+ years of Business Analyst experience in Commercial P&C Insurance. - Experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter (highly preferred). - Strong knowledge of policy administration systems and integration with external systems. - Proficiency writing BRDs/FRDs, user stories, process flows, and data rules. - Experience working in Agile/Iterative environments with SDLC & PMLC understanding. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Ability to self-manage, work through ambiguity, and meet deadlines. - Experience using tools such as Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and UI mockup tools.
