As a key member of our Cloud Operations team, you will play a critical role in managing our cloud expenditures, identifying costs saving opportunities, and delivering comprehensive reports to both finance and engineering leadership.Key Responsibilities:Regularly analyze and manage cloud infrastructure spending and identify cost driversCollaborate with engineers to identifying areas for optimization and implementing cost-saving initiativesDevelop and maintain financial models to forecast cloud expenses and ensure alignment with business objectivesCollaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Finance, and Business Units) to ensure accurate cloud cost allocation and chargeback processesDesign and implement cloud cost governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standardsDevelop and maintain dashboards and reports to provide visibility into cloud costs, usage, and performanceAnalyze cloud usage trends and provide recommendations for rightsizing and optimizationWork with cloud vendors to manage invoices, and ensure accurate billingDevelop and maintain a deep understanding of cloud technologies, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud PlatformIdentify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce costsProvide financial analysis and support for cloud-related projects and initiativesRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field3+ years of experience in Cloud finance, cloud cost managementProven experience with cloud cost management tools, such as AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Analysis, or Google Cloud Cost ManagementStrong understanding of cloud technologies, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaSCertification in cloud computing, such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or Azure Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, FinOps Practitioner is a plusStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data setsExcellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholdersExperience with Power BI or relevant toolsExperience with financial modeling, forecasting, and budgetingNice to Have:Experience with IT service management frameworks, such as ITILExperience in writing SQL queriesKnowledge of cloud security and compliance frameworks, such as HIPAA or PCI-DSSExperience with automation tools, such as Ansible or TerraformFamiliarity with agile development methodologiesWhat We Offer:Competitive salary and bonus structureComprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) matching programPaid time off and holidaysOpportunities for professional growth and developmentCollaborative and dynamic work environmentAccess to cutting-edge technologies and toolsRecognition and reward programs
