Our value proposition for trade clients includes, International Pay and Receive Solutions , Trade Collection services for both importers and exporters, and fraud checks.  About the RoleWe are looking for a Trade Operations Manager to join our team in Pune, India. The potential candidate will be responsible for managing and processing of Documentary Trade Collections for all SingX trade clients. The Trade Operations Manager is responsible for the end-to-end management of the Trade collection process, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and timely settlement of acceptances and payments. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, including exporters, importers, financiers, and other trade partners, to facilitate the smooth flow of trade transactions. The candidate will need to have a strong understanding of trade documentation and financing instruments and a keen eye for detail to minimize risks and errors. Key Responsibilities:· Receive, review, and process trade documents, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and agreed terms of collection and acceptance.· Work closely with exporters, importers, and other trade partners to ensure the smooth processing of collections and acceptances.· Assess potential risks associated with the documentary collection process and escalate issues in a timely manner. · Maintain accurate records for all collection transactions and acceptances and ensure timely follow up.· Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancements within the trade collections operations. The ideal candidate should have:· 5-10 years of working experience in trade operations, either in a bank, BPO service provider or export house.· A strong understanding of international trade (particularly and of URC.) · Professional qualification such as MBA from IIMs, ACCA, CPA, CIMA or similar will be considered a plus.· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications· Resourceful, independent, meticulous, strong analytical mind and eye for details.· Someone who can multi-task and roll up their sleeves · Strong communication and inter-personal skills; leadership skills· Proactive and good team player
