Job Description:
Primary Purpose- Responsible for conceptualizing and creating compelling design solutions that strengthen the university’s brand identity and visual communication.- The role involves understanding the university’s vision, academic ethos, and communication objectives, and translating them into impactful visual narratives across digital and print platforms.Key Responsibilities • Conceptualize and design creative visual assets aligned with the university’s brand strategy and communication goals. • Develop brand guidelines and ensure consistent visual identity across all university touchpoints — including schools, departments, events, and campaigns. • Collaborate with the communications, admissions, and digital teams to design marketing materials for print, web, and social media. • Create engaging layouts, illustrations, infographics, and visual storytelling content for brochures, presentations, newsletters, and event collaterals. • Translate complex academic or institutional concepts into accessible and visually appealing content. • Stay updated on design trends in education branding and apply innovative approaches to elevate the university’s visual presence. • Review and guide design team members to maintain visual consistency and quality standards. • Coordinate with internal stakeholders (faculty, administration, student representatives) to understand requirements and deliver timely design solutions.Requirements & Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or related field. • Strong understanding of brand communication and design strategy. • Proven experience as a Visual Designer, Graphic Designer, or similar role — preferably in education, media, or creative agencies. • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design tools. • Strong sense of typography, color, layout, and composition. • Ability to balance creativity with institutional communication needs. • Portfolio demonstrating brand-led design work and creative storytelling ability.
