We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Manager – Planning to oversee and manage the planning activities of large construction projects, preferably residential multistoried apartment complexes or townships. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the strategic planning, coordination, and execution of project activities, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met. Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocations. Coordinate with cross-functional departments to ensure seamless project execution, from design to completion. Conduct micro-planning to optimize project workflows, resource utilization, and cost-efficiency. Monitor project progress against timelines, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions. Prepare detailed budgets, track expenditures, and ensure financial controls are in place. Analyze project data to identify risks, propose mitigation strategies, and support decision-making processes. Oversee the preparation of progress reports, forecasts, and performance metrics for stakeholders. Collaborate with site teams, consultants, and vendors to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines. Implement project management best practices and continuous improvement initiatives. Mentor and guide a team of planning engineers to enhance their professional growth and capabilities. Who are we looking for? Essential Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) NICMAR certification (preferred) Experience: Min 10 years of planning experience in large-scale construction projects, preferably in residential multi storied apartments or townships. Proven experience in planning various project activities, including micro-planning, budgeting, and interdepartmental coordination. Skills and Competencies: Necessary Skills: Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management. Strong numeracy and analytical skills for data interpretation and decision-making. Proficient in project planning software and technical tools relevant to construction project management. Ability to solve complex engineering and project-related challenges proactively. Desirable Skills: Leadership qualities with the ability to guide and motivate a team. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Adaptability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. What’s in it for you?
