The Senior Microbiologist will be responsible for carrying out microbial testing, monitoring laboratory activities, and ensuring compliance with quality control protocols. Daily responsibilities include managing laboratory equipment, conducting quality assurance assessments, supervising microbiological operations, and reporting findings. The role also involves developing and implementing industry-standard microbiological practices and contributing to the continuous improvement of product safety and quality.QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Microbiology is a must2+ years of experience in microbiological testingExperience in food product testing is a plusProficiency in core microbiology and laboratory skills, including aseptic techniques and microbial testingExperience in operating laboratory equipment and maintaining its calibration and functionalityStrong knowledge of Quality Control and Quality Assurance in food production environmentsAnalytical problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detailStrong understanding of regulatory compliance and industry standards in food safetyExcellent organizational and documentation skills
