Research Assistant – Creativity Research ProjectLocation: Kothrud, PuneCompensation: Open to DiscussionEmployment Type: Full-Time / Part-TimeAbout the ProjectThis role is part of an ongoing research initiative led by Chandana Dixit, grounded in her PhD work on Creativity. The project explores how individuals understand, express, and expand their creative capacities, and how creativity is shaped by the world we inhabit and vice versa. This will be a global endeavour, designed to bring together a team of voracious thought leaders, explorers, and future visionaries.Topics of exploration will be (but are not limited to) :- Digital and social media's impact on our psyche - How AI will impact and revolutionise our lives in the coming times - How mental health gets impacted by the current socio-political and economic world we live in - How one is constantly digitally overstimulated while the privileged get to engage in digital minimalism - How the human condition is understood at various levelsMission of the Project- Help disseminate knowledge that makes creativity more accessible to diverse audiences - Remove obstacles that prevent people from expressing or developing their creative capacities - Discover and illuminate individual creative potentials, rooted in research and reflective practiceWho We're Looking ForIdeal candidates are Master's or PhD students (or recent graduates) in:- Sociology - Anthropology - Psychology - Philosophy - Or related interdisciplinary fieldsWe are seeking intellectually curious individuals who want to engage deeply with creative inquiry, human behaviour, and imaginative world-building.Role OverviewAs a Research Assistant, you will support the development, execution, and dissemination of creativity-focused research. Your contributions will help shape content that reaches global audiences across multiple formats.Key Responsibilities- Conduct literature reviews, qualitative analysis, and conceptual mapping related to creativity and human potential - Assist in research design, data collection, and documentation - Help translate research insights into engaging formats such as: - Original video content - Podcasts - Books and long-form writing - Magazines - Course modules and learning materials - Support outreach, communication, and knowledge dissemination - Contribute to brainstorming sessions, content strategy, and creative development - Provide administrative and project coordination support as neededIdeal Candidate Qualities- Strong interest in interdisciplinary research, creativity, and human development - Excellent communication and writing skills - Analytical mindset with the ability to think conceptually and creatively - Self-driven, curious, and eager to explore new ideas - Comfortable working independently and collaboratively - Bonus: experience with social media, content creation, or course development
