Interior Designer

Job Title: Interior DesignerLocation: Bengaluru, KarnatakaCompany: OneNexus InterioscapeAbout the RoleWe are looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and execution-focused Interior Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong eye for design, a practical understanding of space planning, materials, and on-site execution, and the ability to translate client requirements into thoughtful, functional, and aesthetically refined interiors.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing creativity with real-world execution, because pretty drawings are nice, but built spaces are better.Key Responsibilities • Meet clients and understand their design requirements, lifestyle needs, and project expectations • Develop design concepts, mood boards, space plans, and presentation materials • Prepare 2D layouts, detailed drawings, and design documentation • Create and coordinate 3D views/render concepts where required • Select materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and décor elements suited to the project • Coordinate with vendors, site teams, contractors, and consultants • Conduct site visits and ensure design intent is executed correctly • Support estimation, BOQ preparation, and material specifications • Work closely with the project and execution team to ensure timelines and quality standards are maintained • Resolve design and site-related challenges in a practical and efficient mannerRequirements • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field • Proven experience in residential and/or commercial interior design projects • Strong knowledge of space planning, materials, finishes, and furniture design • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3Ds Max, V-Ray, Lumion, Photoshop, or equivalent design software • Good understanding of working drawings and site coordination • Strong communication and presentation skills • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines • A keen eye for detail, proportion, and aesthetics • Practical knowledge of execution and vendor coordination is highly preferredWhat We’re Looking For • Design sensibility with execution intelligence • Strong ownership and accountability • Problem-solving mindset • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment • Passion for creating spaces that are both functional and beautifulWhy Join UsAt OneNexus Interioscape, you’ll work on meaningful interior projects with a team that values design, precision, and execution.
