Job Title: Technical lead – PCB DesignLocation: PuneExperience: 6+ YearsJob Summary:We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead – PCB Design to lead the design and development of high-quality PCB layouts for automotive electronic products. The role requires strong technical expertise in PCB layout, signal and power integrity, and EMI/EMC considerations, along with the ability to guide the engineering team in delivering reliable and manufacturable designs. The candidate will play a key role in design feasibility analysis, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.Key Responsibilities:Experience in PCB design with ORCAD, preferably in a senior level role.Strong understanding of PCB layout techniques, signal integrity, Power integrity, Thermal and EMC/EMI considerations.Knowledge of IPC standards (IPC 2221, IPC 7351, IPC 2152)Familiar with DFx- DFA, DFM & DFT standards. Signal integrity and Power integrity tool knowledge such as Hyperlynx or any other tool is plusConduct design feasibility studies to identify layout-related trade-offs on packaging, cost, manufacturing, and system performance for the engineering design teamDesigning and developing high quality PCB layouts for automotive electronic productsRequired Skills & Competencies:Strong expertise in PCB design and layout using ORCAD.In-depth understanding of signal integrity, power integrity, thermal design, and EMI/EMC considerations.Strong knowledge of IPC standards (IPC 2221, IPC 7351, IPC 2152).Familiarity with DFx methodologies (DFA, DFM, DFT).Experience with signal and power integrity analysis tools such as HyperLynx is an added advantage.Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Qualifications:BE/ B.Tech/ ME/ M.Tech in Electronics / Electrical / EnTC6 years of experience in PCB design, preferably in automotive electronics, with experience in a technical leadership role.
