Job Title: Draughtsman – Static Equipment DesignPositions: 2Location: PuneIndustry: EPC – Process / Pharma / Chemical PlantsAbout the ClientWe are hiring on behalf of our client, a reputed EPC company delivering end-to-end engineering solutions for pharmaceutical, biotech, and chemical process facilities in India and overseas.Role SummaryThe Draughtsman – Static Design will be responsible for preparing detailed engineering drawings for static equipment used in process plants such as pressure vessels, reactors, heat exchangers, and storage tanks. The role requires close coordination with design engineers, fabrication teams, and project stakeholders to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare GA drawings, fabrication drawings, and detail drawings for static equipment such as:Pressure vesselsReactorsHeat exchangersColumns and storage tanksDevelop drawings in line with design calculations, P&IDs, codes, and standards.Ensure drawings comply with ASME, TEMA, API, and client specifications.Coordinate with static design engineers to incorporate design intent and revisions.Support vendor, fabrication, and inspection teams by providing accurate drawings.Maintain drawing registers, revision control, and document records.Support project execution teams during manufacturing, erection, and as-built documentation.Qualification & ExperienceDiploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering / Drafting2 to 5 years of relevant experience in static equipment design drafting within EPC, pharma, chemical, or process plant projectsRequired SkillsStrong working knowledge of AutoCAD (2D drafting is mandatory)Experience in drafting pressure vessels, heat exchangers, columns, tanks, and reactorsGood understanding of fabrication practices, welding details, and material specificationsFamiliarity with engineering codes and standards related to static equipmentAbility to work with engineering teams and project schedulesWhy This Role?Opportunity to work on large-scale EPC projects in pharma, biotech, and process industriesExposure to complex static equipment and global design standardsLong-term growth with a stable and reputed EPC organization
