Job Title: Packaging Designer Location: Pune / Mumbai Experience: 2–5 Years Department: Creative / Brand Design Industry: Luxury Jewellery / Lifestyle / D2CRole Overview Palmonas is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Packaging Designer who can translate our luxury jewellery brand aesthetics into premium, functional, and innovative packaging. The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of materials, structure, sustainability, and unboxing experience.You will play a key role in enhancing the brand's physical touchpoints and creating memorable first impressions for our customers.Key Responsibilities Design luxury packaging for jewellery including: Rigid boxes, pouches, shipping cartons, gift boxes, festive packs, PR kits & hampers Create structural and surface packaging designs aligned with brand identity Develop print-ready artworks with precise die-lines and production specs Coordinate with vendors, printers, and manufacturers to ensure quality execution Work closely with branding, product, marketing & operations teams Design seasonal, festive & campaign-specific packaging Ensure cost-effectiveness, durability & sustainability in packaging solutions Oversee sampling, prototyping & bulk production approvals Maintain proper packaging documentation & vendor records Stay updated with global trends in luxury & sustainable packagingRequired Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Product Design, Industrial Design, or Packaging Design 2–5 years of experience in packaging design (luxury, lifestyle, cosmetics or jewellery preferred) Strong command over: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign Basic knowledge of 3D tools (optional – Blender, ArtiosCAD)Understanding of: Materials, finishes, die-lines, paper types, foils, embossing, spot UV Strong aesthetic sense & attention to detail Experience with vendor coordination & print processes Knowledge of sustainable packaging materials is a big plusWhat We're Looking For Passion for luxury branding & unboxing experiences High attention to craft, quality & consistency Ability to manage multiple projects in fast-paced startup environment Excellent communication & coordination skills Problem-solver with a hands-on execution mindsetWhy Join Palmonas Work with India's leading luxury demi-fine jewellery brand Opportunity to build iconic packaging for a premium D2C bran High creative ownership & brand visibility Fast-growing startup environment with strong learning exposure
