Job Summary - We are looking for a talented 2D Artist to support our game teams with user interface mock-ups and 2D asset creation. You’ll work closely with designers and developers to deliver high-quality visuals that are clear, functional, and optimised for implementation. What will you do - Create UI mock-ups, menus, HUDs, and in-game screens. Design and deliver 2D game assets (icons, props, backgrounds, buttons). Prepare assets using 9-slicing techniques for scalable UI integration. Generate and refine concepts using prominent image generation AI tools . Ensure assets follow the project’s style and technical requirements. Collaborate with designers and developers to refine visuals and usability. What are we looking for - Strong portfolio showcasing 2D art and UI design. Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, or equivalent tools. Experience with image generation AI tools (e.g., Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, etc.). Solid understanding of UI/UX principles for games. Knowledge of 9-slicing workflows and optimized asset delivery. Ability to adapt to different art styles and pipelines. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Bonus Skills Experience with Unity or Unreal. Basic knowledge of animation (Spine, After Effects, etc.). Experience creating assets for mobile/casual games. Why Join GameFuel?
