Manager - Design Automation

We possess deep expertise in digital technologies such as Cloud Computing, Edge Computing, Data Science & Analytics as well as AR/VR.  We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced ETO Or KBE Manager to lead our team in implementing ETO/KBE solutions using Rulestream. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical design principles, experience with platforms like Rulestream and AutoCAD, and a proven track record of driving process improvements through KBE. This role will be responsible for managing a team of engineers, developing KBE strategies, and ensuring the successful implementation of Rulestream for our customer's needs - mainly to ensure quick turnaround for Design/RFQ requests. Responsibilities: • Lead and mentor a team of ETO/KBE engineers implementing Rulestream (or similar software product) • Plan and track the work products, project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure successful KBE implementation • Develop and implement a comprehensive KBE strategy to automate and optimize design and engineering processes for ETO products • Enable integration of Rulestream (or similar software product) with CAD systems • Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment • Facilitate continuous process improvement for improving the productivity of the team • Manage and meet customer expectations • Guide the team in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues Required Skills: • Extensive experience in design automation using software products like Rulestream • Active involvement in developing and implementing ETO/KBE strategies to optimize the product design and creation of BOM/RFQ using Rulestream • Stakeholder Management - especially managing and meeting customer expectations • Able to work with team to breakdown the scope, plan the work-products, track the progress and ensure timely delivery • Responsible for ensuring active collaboration with the team and performance management of team members • Enable continuous process improvement to achieve productivity gains ' Qualifications: • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field • 10-15 years of experience in engineering, with a focus on design automation using KBE strategies for supporting ETO needs of the customer
