KNIME Platform Administration: Installation and Configuration: Install, configure, and maintain KNIME Server or KNIME Business Hub environments (including on-premise, cloud, or hybrid deployments). User and Access Management: Manage user accounts, roles, and permissions, including integrating with external identity providers like LDAP or OIDC. Platform Monitoring: Monitor the health, performance, and resource utilization of the KNIME platform, including job execution, schedules, and executor usage. Security and Governance: Implement and enforce security policies, manage data access rights, and ensure compliance with data governance standards. Maintenance and Upgrades: Plan and execute platform upgrades, patches, and routine maintenance tasks to ensure continuous availability and performance. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve platform-related issues, including executor failures, workflow deployment errors, and connectivity problems. Backup and Recovery: Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery strategies for the KNIME repository and configuration files. 2. KNIME Development: Workflow Design & Development: Design, build, and deploy end-to-end data workflows for various use cases, including: Data integration and ETL/ELT. Data cleaning, preparation, and transformation. Statistical analysis and data mining. Machine learning model development, training, and deployment. Text processing and natural language processing (NLP). Component and Metanode Creation: Develop and maintain reusable components and metanodes to standardize processes and promote best practices across the organization. Scripting and Integration: Integrate KNIME with other technologies using scripting languages like Python or R, and connect to various data sources such as databases, APIs, and cloud services. Workflow Optimization: Optimize workflows for performance, efficiency, and scalability, ensuring they run reliably in a production environment. Data Applications & APIs: Deploy workflows as interactive data applications via KNIME WebPortal or as REST APIs for integration with other systems.
