You'llwork closely with the founders and senior leadership to ensure accurate books, statutory compliance, and robustfinancial controls across our omnichannel retail business. This is a high-ownership role with direct visibility toleadership and meaningful impact on a Series A-stage company.Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Bookkeeping• Own end-to-end accounting across all entities, stores, and channels• Manage daily, monthly, and quarterly book closures with accuracy and speed• Oversee accounts payable/receivable, vendor reconciliations, and inter-store settlements• Manage payroll processing for a ~50+ member team across multiple locationsCompliance & Statutory• Ensure timely GST filing, TDS/TCS compliance, and ROC filings• Liaise with external CAs, auditors, and legal counsel for audits and annual filings• Maintain compliance across all store locations (state-wise applicable regulations)• Support ongoing financial due diligence (BDO) and legal diligence (Trilegal) for the Series A raiseMIS & Reporting• Prepare weekly/monthly MIS reports for founder review — P&L;, cash flow, store-wise profitability• Build dashboards and trackers for category-wise margins, CAC, and working capital• Support investor reporting post Series A closureControls & Process Building• Design and implement internal financial controls across retail and online operations• Drive process standardization across franchise and company-owned stores• Identify and flag risks related to inventory discrepancies, sales underreporting, and vendor fraudWho We're Looking For• CA (preferred) or MBA Finance / with 4–7 years of relevant experience• Prior experience in retail, D2C, consumer brands, or multi-location businesses strongly preferred• Hands-on with Tally, Zoho Books, or similar accounting software• Strong understanding of GST, TDS, ROC, and India-specific compliance landscape• Comfort working in a fast-paced, founder-led startup environment• Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable owning outcomes independentlyWhat You Get• Competitive compensation benchmarked to the market• Direct access and mentorship from the founding team• A front-row seat to building one of India's most exciting consumer brands• Opportunity to grow into Head of Finance/VP Finance as the company scales to 50+ stores and beyond
