UK Year End Accountant

Title - Accountant (UK Accounting- Year-End)Location - Pune, Remote - Immediate Joiners requiredJob descriptionCandidates from 6 months to 2 years of experience can apply. Timing: UK Shift (1PM-10PM or 1:30PM to 10:30PM IST)We are looking for a skilled Year-End Accountant to take ownership of statutory accounts, corporation tax computations, and compliance for UK-based SMEs and owner-managed businesses.Key Responsibilities:Preparing statutory year-end accounts in accordance with UK GAAP and the Companies Act.Preparing corporation tax computations and liaising with tax teams.Preparing directors’ reports, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial statements.Ensuring accounts are ready for submission to HMRC and Companies House.Assisting with audit files and addressing auditor queries.Required Skills:Proven experience in year-end accounts preparation for SMEs and owner-managed businesses.Proficient in Sage software is a mustStrong technical knowledge of FRS 102 and FRS 105.Proficiency in cloud accounting software: QuickBooks Online, FreeAgent, Xero, or Sage.Strong attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.Nice to Have:Familiarity with IRIS, CaseWare, or CCH software.Experience in preparing audit files within an accounting practice.Exposure to working with multi-entity or group structures.
