Junior Accountant

Role OverviewWe are looking for a detail-oriented, proactive, and reliable Accountant to join our growing finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing day-to-day accounting functions, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting compliance across direct and indirect taxes. This role is suited for individuals who are eager to grow in a structured finance environment with strong fundamentals in accounting and taxation.Key ResponsibilitiesManage daily accounting operations including:Journal entries, ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliationsAccounts receivable and accounts payableVendor payments and customer invoicingEnsure statutory compliance and timely filing of:GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual returns, reconciliations)TDS payments, returns (Form 26Q, 27Q), and certificate issuanceIncome Tax provisions, advance tax, and other applicable financial compliancesAssist in preparation of:Monthly MIS reportsAudit schedules and statutory audit supportCash flow statements and financial analysis as requiredMaintain proper documentation and records for audit and regulatory purposesCoordinate with external consultants (CAs, auditors, etc.) on compliance and filing mattersQualificationsEducation: (mandatory)CA Inter / Semi-qualified CA (preferred)Experience:0–2 years of relevant experience in accounting and tax complianceInternship experience in a CA firm or finance function is an added advantageRequired SkillsTechnical SkillsSoft SkillsSound knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and basic financial controlsHigh attention to detail and accuracyHands-on experience with Tally ERPStrong problem-solving mindsetProficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic formulas)Effective communication and teamworkWorking understanding of GST, TDS & Income Tax rulesAbility to manage timelines and multitask
