ResponsibilitiesResponsible for accuracy, timelines and integrity of the accounting from Record to ReportCheck the accuracy of journal entries to ensure that the general ledger is accurate and completeCheck and analyze financial information and prepare financial reports and provide data to senior management for decision makingProvide technical accounting advice within area of expertise to functional or operational areas managers to tackle business needs/transactions/modelsResponsible for financial accounting as per relevant accounting standards & legislationsResponsible for preparation and reporting of financial results ensuring accuracy and within HO deadlinesResponsible for Monthly Reporting and adherence to the timelines givenPrepare analytical reports for sales, profitability, price-mix by products/sales channels/regionsComparative analysis of actual results with budget/forecast/previous year and explain reasons for deviations to enable senior management in taking appropriate decisionsMonitor actual fixed costs/selling variable costs/logistics cost vs budget/forecast and explain reasons for deviations to enable adequate provisioning, cost control measuresAssist in making presentations for business reviews for India/Asia Pacific Region/Group managementParticipate in pricing decisions for price increase, approvals of projects businessAssist in designing sales promotional schemes, determine provisions to be made as per schemes implemented, monitor scheme disbursement vs provisionsParticipate in special projects like 5 year plans, trend analysis, various initiatives QualificationsCA with 3 Plus years post qualification
