Financial Controller | DTC Ecommerce

Remote | Global | Full-Time or Part-TimeWe’re a fast-growing DTC e-commerce company operating across Shopify, Amazon FBA, and TikTok Shop, with complex inventory, multi-supplier sourcing (China + USA), and meaningful monthly ad spend.We are looking for a Financial Controller whose sole focus is extremely accurate, true accrual-based accounting.This is not a bookkeeping role.This is not a strategic finance or CFO role.This is an operator role focused on correctness, speed, and discipline.If you enjoy turning messy e-commerce financials into clean, decision-grade numbers, this role is for you.What This Role is Responsible ForYou will own accrual accounting accuracy end-to-end.Your responsibilities include:Full monthly close ownershipAccrual revenue recognition across Shopify, Amazon FBA (A2X), and TikTok ShopInventory & balance sheet accuracyMultiple SKUsMultiple suppliers (China + USA)Variable landed costs (freight, duties, domestic forwarding)COGS accuracyProduct costLanded cost allocationCost variance handlingAd spend accrual (timing accuracy, not cash-basis)3PL accountingUS-based 3PLInternational (China-based) fulfillmentWeekly true-accrual reportingWeekly P&LWeekly balance sheetMonthly close delivered fast, clean, and accurateYou will work primarily in QuickBooks Online and spread sheets.
