Tax Manager

A US Based biotechnology and pharmaceutical company is seeking dynamic and experienced professional who will be responsible for managing the direct tax compliance in its foreign jurisdictions, as well as the tax provision for both US GAAP and local statutory filings. Location: Pune Open Positions: Supervisor/ Senior Manager Key Responsibilities Prepare Corporate Income Tax (CIT), Trade Tax (TT), and Secondary Tax filings across multiple European countries in coordination with external tax advisors, ensuring full compliance with local and international tax laws. Prepare and post Return to Provision (RTP) summaries and entries; review and reconcile tax payable/receivable positions. Prepare USGAAP tax provisions and entries, ensuring compliance with US regulations and minimizing RTP adjustments. Collaborate with Corporate Tax (US) and liaise with statutory auditors on external audit tax requirements. Manage direct tax compliance, audits, and reporting across all jurisdictions, ensuring timely and accurate submissions. Oversee Onesource tax uploads and reviews; ensure effectiveness of compliance work performed by external tax advisors and alignment with cost expectations. Maintain a strong internal control environment in line with SOX and Delegation of Authorities (DOA) standards. Drive team performance management, issue escalation, and continuous training to stay updated with tax legislation. Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance and Tax teams and support other tax-related initiatives as needed. Key requirements Education: CA or US CPA required (For Senior Manager); Bachelor's degree in Taxation, Economics, Finance, Law, or a related field. Experience: Minimum 5years of professional experience in a tax accounting environment, preferably within a multinational organization.
