Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced tax professional with a strong background in income tax compliance, accounting, and planning, preferably in a multinational corporate environment. The ideal candidate will bring both strategic insight and hands-on experience to manage US and US State & Local tax compliance, ensure adherence to global tax standards, and enhance internal processes for efficiency and accuracy. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the Income tax compliance team for both US federal and US State & Local tax compliance. Oversee and ensure adherence to US GAAP tax accounting and SOX compliance requirements. Collaborate on transfer pricing matters, including reporting requirements and audit management. Apply hands-on knowledge in income tax return preparation, with prior experience in preparing returns early in career preferred. Engage in tax planning initiatives , with awareness of global developments such as Pillar Two Tax Reform and other anti-avoidance legislations. Develop and implement internal processes to improve the efficiency and accuracy of income tax compliance and accounting for financial statements. Work closely with finance teams to ensure compliance with IFRS requirements , particularly in European jurisdictions. Stay informed on global tax regulatory changes and assess their impact on company operations. Qualifications & Experience: 15+ years of progressive experience in income tax within a US multinational or the non-US subsidiary of a US multinational. CA / CPA qualification preferred. Experience working in a publicly traded company , with exposure to US GAAP tax accounting and SOX requirements. Strong transfer pricing knowledge and audit handling experience. Track record of successfully managing tax compliance teams with emphasis on income tax (rather than indirect tax). Exposure to global tax planning strategies and reforms. Familiarity with IFRS standards in Europe is desirable. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
