Cost Accountant – Manufacturing Finance Shirur Plant (Saradwadi), Pune | 4–10 Years | Reports to: CFO / CEO Power strategic pricing. At Manikchand Packaging, we’re hiring a qualified, detail‑oriented Cost Accountant to own cost control, product costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation across our flexible packaging operations. You must be well‑versed in manufacturing cost accounting and ready to partner with leadership—providing accurate cost data and clear, actionable insights that support strategic decision‑making. What You’ll Do Product Costing & Variance ·       Prepare costing for laminates, rolls, pouches across structures and SKUs. ·       Analyse material consumption, run rates, yields, losses and wastage. ·       Track standard vs actual cost and highlight profitability gaps. Inventory Valuation ·       Conduct monthly valuation of raw materials, WIP and finished goods. ·       Support physical audits and monitor slow/non-moving stock. ·       Reconcile costing data with stores, production and accounts. Budgeting, Analysis & MIS ·       Assist in cost budgets, forecasts and product-wise margins. ·       Generate costing-based MIS for management and pricing teams. ·       Support audits (statutory, internal) with costing and inventory records. What You’ll Bring ·       CMA / MBA (Finance) with 4–10 years’ experience in cost accounting. ·       Experience in flexible packaging / plastic / manufacturing industries. ·       Knowledge of standard costing, ERP, Excel and inventory control. ·       Sharp number sense, cross-functional understanding and report discipline. Preferred: Knowledge of PET, BOPP, inks, adhesives; converting processes.
