Location: Auroville, India Are you a highly motivated and skilled hospitality professional? We are seeking a Property Manager to join our team in Auroville to manage our operations. This is a critical role for a self-starter who excels in guest relations, revenue management and operational efficiency. You will be the primary point of contact for guests and a key driver in maximizing our property's success. About the Role: This is not a typical 9-to-5 job. Role requires working on morning and evening shifts, allowing you to lead our properties during their busiest hours. This dynamic role requires you to wear multiple hats, acting as a combination of an Operations Manager, Revenue Manager and Night Manager. You will be the on-site leader, ensuring that every guest's experience is seamless and exceptional for our boutique properties. Key Responsibilities: ·       Operational Management & Guest Experience : Take full ownership of all property operations during your shift. This includes everything from handling guest check-ins and check-outs to resolving any on-site issues or complaints with professionalism and a calm demeanor. ·       OTA & PMS Expertise : Strategically manage our Online Travel Agency (OTA) listings and Property Management System (PMS). You will be responsible for implementing dynamic pricing strategies , updating property availability/amenities/programs and ensuring all booking and billing information is accurate. ·       Revenue Management : Drive revenue growth by actively widening booking sources through online and offline collaborations. Your insights will be crucial in optimizing our pricing and occupancy rates. ·       Cross-Functional Coordination : Collaborate closely with other key staff, including the Admin & Purchase Manager + Management, to align on financial, vendors and administrative matters. ·       Reporting : Provide regular updates to the Owner/Director on guest feedback, operational status and financial performance. Desired Qualifications   ·       Education : A Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or a related field. ·       Experience : 1-3 years of proven work experience in a similar role within the hospitality sector with a focus on guest services, front office or operational management. Language Skills o    Fluent knowledge of English is required for effective communication with international guests and for managing online platforms. o    Preferred knowledge of Tamil and Hindi is highly desirable to effectively communicate with local staff, vendors and guests, building a stronger community and resolving issues efficiently.
