Technical Lead – Full Stack (MERN | FinTech APIs | UPI & Payments)

We are looking for a hands-on Technical Lead – Full Stack with strong experience in the MERN stack and exposure to FinTech and payment systems. The role involves leading and guiding junior developers, participating in code reviews, and coordinating with QA and product teams to deliver high-quality applications.Technical LeadershipLead and mentor junior developers through code reviews, design guidance, and best practicesKnowledge of microservices & backend architecture, API design, and scalability decisionsEnsure secure, reliable, and high-performance payment flowsAct as the technical point of contact for production issues and releasesFamiliarity with Agile / Scrum methodologiesExposure to CI/CD pipelinesFull Stack DevelopmentDesign, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using the MERN stackDevelop RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.jsBuild and optimize MongoDB schemas and queriesCreate responsive and high-performance UI using React.js / Next.jsFintech & Paymeny SystemsDevelop and integrate UPI, online payment, and merchant APIsHandle transaction lifecycles, callbacks, and webhooksImplement secure payment flows with proper error handling and loggingWork with banking partners and payment gateways for API integrationsContainerization & DeploymentContainerize applications using DockerSupport deployments and environment configurationsFollow basic DevOps and CI/CD best practicesQuality, Testing & CollaborationEnforce clean, maintainable, and testable codeImplement unit and integration tests using React Testing Library, Jest, etc.Work closely with QA leads for test planning, bug triaging, and release readinessCoordinate with product managers and designers to meet business requirementsFinTech / Payments (Mandatory)Experience working on FinTech or payment productsExposure to UPI, payment gateways, merchant or banking APIsUnderstanding of payment workflows, callbacks, and transaction handling[Candidates with experience in FinTech companies, payment platforms, UPI-based systems, or banking API products will be highly preferred.]EducationBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Relevant experience is valued over formal education)
