The company’s head office and manufacturing facility is in M.I.D.C., Bhosari, Pune.Role Description:Revata Engineering is hiring a Documentation Engineer to strengthen and maintain manufacturing documentation and ensure consistent execution of production processes in line with our Quality Management System (QMS). The Documentation Engineer will create, standardize, and maintain production and QMS documentation such as routers/route cards, visual SOPs, manuals, work instructions, and specification sheets (including compound/material specifications where applicable. This role also ensures that documented processes are implemented, followed, measured, and continuously improved across the shop floor.Key Responsibilities:·      Create, standardize, and maintain Route Cards for each production part, including operation sequence, key process parameters, tooling/fixtures, inspection stages, and acceptance criteria.·      Develop and maintain Visual SOPs and Work Instructions that are operator-friendly (photos/diagrams, checkpoints, do’s/don’ts).·      Implement and manage document control: document numbering, approvals, revision control, controlled distribution, point-of-use availability, archival, and retrieval.·      Maintain a Master List of Documents and ensure only the latest revisions are accessible on the shop floor.·      Drive change management for document revisions: impact assessment, updates, communication, operator training, and implementation verification.·      Ensure documented processes are followed through routine shop-floor audits, process adherence checks, and record verification.·      Identify gaps between “defined process” and “actual practice,” and work with Production/Quality/Engineering teams to close gaps through corrective actions and improvements.·      Support QMS certification readiness (API Q1 now; AS9100/IATF later) by ensuring documentation and records are audit-ready, traceable, and consistently maintained.·      Coordinate and document training related to SOPs, routers, and quality records; ensure training evidence is maintained.Qualifications:·      Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Production / Industrial / Manufacturing / Chemical / Metallurgy Engineering or related field.·      2–8 years experience in manufacturing with strong exposure to process documentation, production engineering, process control, or QMS documentation.·      Proven ability to create structured documents such as route cards/routers, SOPs, work instructions, and specification sheets.·      Strong shop-floor orientation and ability to work closely with operators, supervisors, and cross-functional stakeholders.·      Proficiency in MS Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint) with strong attention to detail and version control discipline.Preferred / Good to Have:·      Exposure to API Spec Q1, ISO 9001, AS9100, and/or IATF 16949 documentation or audit environments.·      Experience creating visual SOPs using photos/diagrams and improving operator compliance through clear documentation.·      Familiarity with traceability, inspection planning, calibration/measurement record control, and manufacturing record retention practices.·      Ability to create process flows using tools like Visio / draw.io (or similar).Location: M.I.D.C., Bhosari, Pune – 411026Office Timings: Monday - Saturday (8:30 AM to 5:30 PM)Renumeration: CTC will be as per industry standard.Interested candidates, please email your resume to .PLEASE DO NOT CALL THE COMPANY MAINLINE AS NO RECRUITMENT-RELATED CALLS WILL BE ENTERTAINED.
