Ltd. is a well-recognized manufacturer and supplier of engineered components and equipment for the Oil & Gas industry. The company specializes in elastomer solutions and polymer-based sealing products including custom molded rubber parts, industrial sealing components, bonded elastomer parts, and application-specific engineered solutions. Role Description:Revata Engineering is looking for an Assistant Business Development Manager who is energetic, self-driven, and highly motivated to grow new business opportunities.This role is focused on actively developing new customers and expanding Revata’s market presence through cold calling, customer visits, technical discussions, and capability presentations. The candidate will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, understanding customer requirements, coordinating internally to develop solutions, and closing sales.The role requires someone who enjoys meeting customers, building relationships, pitching engineering capabilities, and converting opportunities into orders. Key Responsibilities:• Identify and develop new business opportunities for engineered elastomer and polymer products across industrial sectors.• Conduct cold calling, lead generation, and customer outreach to introduce Revata’s capabilities and product offerings.• Travel regularly to meet potential customers, conduct capability presentations, and build long-term business relationships.• Understand customer technical requirements, applications, drawings, and specifications for rubber and polymer components.• Coordinate with internal design, engineering, production, and costing teams to develop suitable product solutions and quotations.• Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals to customers.• Follow up aggressively on sales leads, quotations, and discussions to convert opportunities into confirmed orders.• Maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to drive repeat business and account growth.• Track market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities in elastomer and polymer-based components.• Maintain records of business development activities, customer visits, and sales pipeline updates. Required Qualifications & Skills:• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Polymer / Rubber Technology or related field) or equivalent technical background.• MBA in Sales / Marketing preferred.• 2–6 years of experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles in manufacturing or engineering companies.• Ability to approach new customers confidently and build relationships quickly.• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.• Comfortable with cold calling, field visits, and customer meetings.• Highly self-motivated, result-oriented, and proactive.• Ability to work independently and drive sales opportunities from lead generation to closure.• Willingness to travel frequently for business development activities.• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
