VACANCY FOR COST ENGINEERCompany Description:Established in 2009, Revata Engineering is a well-recognized manufacturer and supplier of equipment for the Oil & Gas industry. The company’s head office and manufacturing facility are located in M.I.D.C., Bhosari, Pune.Role Description:Revata Engineering is hiring a Cost Engineer to strengthen our response to new customer enquiries by delivering accurate, competitive, and timely cost estimates. This role requires close coordination with Sales, Engineering, Production, Purchase, Quality, and external vendors / subcontractors to arrive at commercially sound costing in the shortest possible time. While the core focus would be rubber components, the scope also includes machined parts, polymer-based components, outsourced processes, assemblies, and traded items.We are looking for a candidate who is smart, analytical, proactive, and commercially aware. Someone who can work across departments, drive inputs to closure, and support fast, confident quotation decisions.Key Responsibilities:• Review customer enquiries, drawings, specifications, BOMs, volumes, and delivery requirements• Prepare detailed cost estimates covering materials, processing, tooling, outsourced operations, bought-out items, testing, packing, and logistics• Work with Sales to understand enquiry priorities, target pricing, and commercial expectations• Coordinate with Engineering and Production to validate process route, cycle time, yield, scrap, tooling, manpower, and feasibility assumptions• Liaise with Purchase and external vendors / subcontractors to obtain timely pricing inputs• Compare costing options and support finalization of competitive, commercially viable quotations• Maintain cost sheets, costing assumptions, vendor quotes, and historical reference data• Identify opportunities for value engineering, alternate sourcing, and cost reductionQualifications:• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, Polymer, Manufacturing, or related Engineering discipline• 3–8 years of relevant experience in costing, estimation, manufacturing engineering, production, purchase, or techno-commercial roles in a manufacturing environment• Strong ability to read engineering drawings and understand manufacturing cost drivers• Excellent numerical aptitude and strong proficiency in MS Excel• Good communication and cross-functional coordination skillsPreferred / Good to Have:• Experience in rubber / elastomer products, machined components, engineered industrial products, or Oil & Gas manufacturing• Exposure to vendor costing, subcontracting, and outsourced process costing• Understanding of tooling amortization, should-costing, value engineering, and alternate manufacturing routes• Ability to work with urgency and manage multiple enquiries simultaneouslyLocation: M.I.D.C., Bhosari, Pune – 411026Office Timings: Monday - Saturday (8:30 AM to 5:30 PM)Remuneration: CTC will be as per industry standard.Interested candidates, please email your resume to: PLEASE DO NOT CALL THE COMPANY MAINLINE AS NO RECRUITMENT-RELATED CALLS WILL BE ENTERTAINED.
