Lean team, no bureaucracy, work that goes live.The roleWe're looking for a Senior Data Engineer to own the design and delivery of cloud-native data platforms across our client portfolio. You'll work directly with our Director of Architecture and CEO on engagements that blend modern data engineering with LLM and agentic AI workloads.What you'll doDesign and build production data platforms on Azure + DatabricksDevelop scalable pipelines in Python and PySpark with strong SQL across complex modelsOwn end-to-end delivery — requirements, architecture, build, handoverImplement governance, lineage, and access controls in Unity CatalogPartner with ML engineers and architects on data foundations for LLM applicationsReview code and mentor junior engineersWhat we're looking for5+ years in data engineering, with at least 2 years hands-on with DatabricksStrong Python and PySpark; fluent SQL; comfortable with complex transformationsProduction experience on Azure (Data Factory, ADLS, Synapse a plus)Solid grasp of medallion architecture, dimensional modelling, and data quality patternsWorking knowledge of Unity Catalog or equivalent governance toolingClear written and spoken English — you will be in client-facing conversationsHealthcare, insurance, or financial services experience is a plusDatabricks certifications welcomed (we'll pay for more)What we offer₹15-25 LPA, paid monthly in INR plus performance bonus100% remote — work from anywhere in IndiaFlexible hours with a UK overlap25 days paid leave + Indian public holidaysAnnual learning and certification budget (Databricks, Azure, AI)Hardware allowance Real AI-native client work — no maintenance backlog, no legacy purgatoryClear path to staff engineer / tech lead as we scaleOccasional travel to UK and EU client sites where it helpsHow to applySend your CV and a short note on what makes you amazing — a project you're proud of, something you built that surprised even you, or the thing you do better than most engineers you know.
