With both consulting and products, our expertise can help our customers save time and money as they move from strategic Clinical & Quality management all the way to widespread and profitable commercialisation.Job OverviewThe SAP Finance Functional SME will be responsible for driving the design and development of scalable finance data products by leveraging deep expertise in SAP Finance and enterprise finance systems. This role requires a strong understanding of SAP data structures, including tables, fields, and interdependencies, to enable accurate data modelling and integration across platforms. The individual will work closely with business stakeholders, finance teams, and technology partners to translate complex requirements into robust data solutions, ensuring seamless data exchange, integrity, and alignment with organizational objectives.Responsibilities and Duties Lead the design and development of finance data products leveraging deep SAP Finance expertise (GL, AP, AR, FP&A, and master data).Analyze and interpret SAP data structures, including tables, fields, and relationships, to enable accurate data extraction and transformation.Define and implement data joins, mappings, and extensions to build scalable and efficient data models.Design and manage data integrations across enterprise finance systems such as BPC, TM1, Ariba, Concur, and Kyriba.Ensure seamless data exchange between systems while maintaining data integrity, consistency, and compliance.Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and refine requirements for finance data solutions.Lead requirement workshops and solution discussions, translating business needs into technical specifications.Work closely with data engineering and analytics teams to enable high-quality data pipelines and reporting capabilities.Identify data gaps, inconsistencies, and optimisation opportunities, and implement appropriate solutions.Establish best practices for data modelling, governance, and documentation within the finance data ecosystem.Support testing, validation, and deployment of data products to ensure accuracy and reliability.Provide subject matter expertise on SAP Finance data and enterprise finance systems to cross-functional teams.Drive continuous improvement in data architecture, integration approaches, and solution design. Qualifications Deep SAP Finance expertise (mandatory) – including key modules such as GL, AP, AR, FP&A (planning/forecasting), and core finance master data, etc.Strong understanding of SAP data structures: tables, fields, and relationships across modules, must know how tables are interlinked, joined at the field level, and how to apply appropriate data filtersAbility to define joins, mappings, and extensions to build scalable data modelsStrong working knowledge of finance systems: BPC, TM1, Ariba, Concur, Kyriba etc.,MUST HAVE hands-on experience working across these finance systems to design data products and integrations (data exchange)Proven experience leading requirement and solution discussions with business stakeholders.Have Prior experience at a Senior Manager or Tech Lead level7-10 years of experience, with good techno-functional skills.
